The prevalence of intermediary stages of poultry helminths in arthropod vectors was studied in commercial poultry farms (both deep letter and cage system of management) located in and around Chennai. A species of Alphilobium peceus, Oliver vectoring the poultry helminths has been reported. 38.2% of beetles were found to harbour poultry helminths. Mixed infections with Subulura brumpli and Choanotaemia infundibulum were predominantly observed (21.7%) in beetles. The other arthropods viz. ants, earwigs and files were found negative.
