A production trial was conducted using 150 single comb White Leghorn layers to study the effect on cellulase supplementation at three different levels in high fibre diet on the production performance in comparison with standard layer and high fibre rations for a period of 20 weeks, Egg production, feed efficiency and egg weight did not differ significantly among treatment, whereas feed intake was significantly (P<0.01) more in high fibre control diet fed groups. From the cost-benefit analysis, cost of production of an egg was lower in all enzyme supplemented groups than controls.
