Effect of triazophos fed to broiler chickens @6.85 mgand 0.685 mg per kg feed for eight weeks was investigated at fortnightly interval on the haematological profile. Haemogram showed significantly decreasoo haemoglobin, packed cell volwne, total erythrocyte count, total leucocyte count, absolute lymphocyte count in both the dosages. Increase in heterophil, heterophil and lymphocyte ratio and eosinophil was observed at 6.85 mg/kg feed. The mean corpuscular haemoglobin volwne and haemoglobin concentration decreased significantly at the 8th week in both the dosages. The result suggested a generalised anemia, with haematopoietic stress and immuno-suppressive effect with strengthening of first line of cellular defence.
