Regression equation and trend of growth in broiler chickens upto six weeks of age

Abstract

Liver stimulants (AVILTG/26, AVILTG/26A and AVILTG/26 B) of Dabur Ayurvet Limited were supplemented in broiler diets at the rate of 500, 250 and 250 glton feed respectively. The average body weight at six weeks of age were found to be significantly (P<0.01) higher in treated groups than in control. Linear equation did not give a good fit however quadratic trend of growth was observed in broiler chickens. All the regression coefficients were highly significant.
