Ninety-six Nicobari Layers (35 weeks old) were used to study use of oil palm husk at 0, 2.5, 5.0 and 7.5% for 100 days. the body weght gain was reduced as the feed containing oil palm husk was increased. Average number of eggs production per bird during the experimental perod differed significantly (P<0.05) and the egg produced per bird during the experiment were 56.8±8, 56±5, 62±8 and 38±1 in 0, 2.5,5.0 and 7.5% oil palm husk fed groups. Feed efficiency (kg feed/dozen egg and Kg feed/kg egg mass) was significantly (P<0.05) different among different groups. Profit per bird was Rs. 21.02, Rs. 8.01 and Rs. 30.05 in 0, 2.5 and 5.0% oil palm husk fed groups, respectively but there was a net loss of Rs. 27.84 in the group fed with ration containing 7.5% oil palm husk..
