Abstract

In developing birds the lamina epithelialis of tubular part of infundibulum showed strong affinity for PAS reaction. The tubular glands of magnum showed strong affinity for PAS, bromphenol blue and alcian blue but no affinity for colloidal iron. In laying birds the tubular glands of magnum showed very strong affinity for PAS and bromphenol blue but weak for alcian blue and colloidal iron. The goblet cells of oviduct showed strong affinity in developing birds and vcry strong atlinity in laying birds for the PAS reaction.
