An experiment was conducted to study the effect of probiotic and antibiotic feeding either alone or in combination in the broiler ration up to six weeks of age. Body weight gain and feed efficiency were significantly higher in probiotic and/or antibiotic supplemented groups than the control. Probiotic and antibiotic combination performed better than individual supplementations. The cost of feeding per kg gain was highest with probiotic and antibiotic combination followed by probiotic and antibiotic, respectively.
