Data on 820 chicks of CARI Dhanaraja, produced from 80 dams and 20 sires, were utilized for genetic parameters estimation. The heritability estimates for early body weights and confirmation traits were low but medium for body weight at 8 weeks of age. Most of the genetic and phenotypic correlations of the traits were positive and significant.
