Present study evaluated the effect of dietary inclusion of Garlic Powder (GP) and Neem Seed Cake (NSC) and their combination on serum and meat cholesterol. 210 day-old chicks were divided into seven groups in triplicate with 10 chicks in each group. The experiment was carried out with two levels of GP viz., 0.5 and 1.0%, two levels of NSC viz., 1.0 and 2.0% and two levels of GP and NSC combination viz., 0.5% GP + 1.0% NSC and 1.0% GP + 2.0% NSC. The dietary inclusion of GP, NSC and their combination significantly (P<0.05) reduced the serum total cholesterol, breast meat cholesterol and thigh meat cholesterol in broilers at market age of six weeks. The combination of 1.0% GP and 2.0% NSC inclusion had the maximum effect in this study and reduced the serum cholesterol by 17.09%, the breast meat cholesterol by 18.55% and thigh meat cholesterol by 12.11% in broilers at the market age of six weeks. Inclusion of GP, NSC and their combination in broiler feed was beneficial for substantial reduction in cholesterol content of poultry meat.
