A documentary film on poultry farming entitled “Murgi Palan- Rozgar ek labh anek” was prepared employing a standard procedure i.e. planning, scripting, recording, editing, mixing, time estimation, review and fine tuning steps and was tested for its effectiveness by subjecting it to twenty judges of subject matter specialists and extension specialists. Overall effectiveness of documentary film was rated as high to moderate by most of the judges with overall obtained weighted mean score of 2.71 as against maximum of 3.0, thereby indicating that the developed video-film on poultry farming was quite educative and informative for farmers.
