Six days training was given to three groups constituting 20 Scheduled Caste (SC) women each in collaboration with Institute of Agricultural Technology Training and Education, CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar on 10 selected messages of poultry farming. Different media support were used for three groups viz. expert lectures and posters + training manual (GI), expert lectures and posters + training manual + CDROM (G2) and expert lectures and posters + training manual + CDROM + Video (G3). The comparison of knowledge gain of three groups indicated that though all the trainings resulted in knowledge gain of respondents but there was no significant difference in knowledge gain between groups G1 and G2. However, significant difference in knowledge gain was observed between G2 and G3 and also in between G1 and G3. This means that video film was more effective than CD-Rom in increasing knowledge of respondents.
