Abstract

An unhealthy organisational culture may seriously affect productivity, job satisfaction and employee behaviour. The purpose of the investigation was to explore factors of organisational culture that have an influence on an energy-providingcompany. A quantitative research design was used. Afour-point Likert-type scale questionnaire was designed and a purposive sample was used.The response rate was 40.5%. The results of the study indicated that managing employee–employer relationships, job involvement, job satisfaction, leadership, values and organisational commitment are vital factors in order tocreate a healthy organisational culture.
