Abstract

The present work is to study the MHD effects on the unsteady heat convective mass transfer flow past an infinite vertical porous plate with variable suction, where the plate temperature oscillates with the same frequency as that of variable suction velocity with the Soret effects. The governing equations are solved numericallyby using implicit finite difference method. The numerical values are obtained for the velocity, temperature and concentration profiles for different parameters such as Gr(Grashof number), Gc(modified Grashof number), Sc(Schmidt number), P(Prandtl number), So(Soret number), M(Magnetic parameter), E(Eckert number), ω (frequency) and A(variable suction parameter). The velocity, temperature and concentration profiles are shown graphically.
