Abstract

A novel approach of application of novel functional materials and evolving technologies has been presented in this paper to produce renewable energy. Emphasis has been laid on the use of Spintronics materials as functional materials for making clean renewable energy to overcome the problem of dwindling reserves of conventional energy sources, and also reduce the pollution level, which is the need of the hour. A new member of the group of promising 2D materials, MXene, has also been discussed briefly. Application of Sol Gel Technology for production and storage of renewable energy has been mentioned. In addition, the problems likely to be faced for design and development of the devices for the generation of renewable energy have been pointed out. This paper must be very useful for the Spintronics engineers engaged in designing the devices for the generation of clean renewable energy.
