Abstract

Recent studies revealed that the contribution of the different bioactive scaffolds in one structure creates modern drugs/compounds with unique synergistic biological activities. In this regard, thanks to the interesting biological and medicinal properties of tetrazole skeletons. The tetrazole nucleus represents, among the class of heterocycles, a very important scaffold to obtain molecules with biological activities. A review of literature revealed how such kinds of heterocycles, coming from natural and synthetic source, are associated with a wide range of biological activities.
