Abstract

Stable photocurrents were obtained for p-CuO photoelectrochemical cells in the presence of F2+/Fe3+ redox couple. Easy fabrication method of nano p-CuO films on copper sheets was presented. band gap estimated was ≍ 1.38eV. XRD data revealed that the films produced on copper was entirely CuO. Onset of the photoelectrochemical cell with p-CuO was +0.1V vs AgCl/Ag.
