A novel hybrid power and refrigeration cycle and simple ejector refrigeration cycle is proposed and compared. This cycle uses environment friendly working fluid R-141b which is compatible for use of low grade energy sources (available abundantly). Basic thermodynamic properties of the systems are determined by energy analysis. An exergy analysis is conducted for finding major sources of irreversibility and suggested method for improvement of overall performance. Exergy and energy is performed to evaluate the effect of the important thermodynamic parameters on the performance of the hybrid cycle.
