Design, fabrication and testing of solar concrete collector at Kakinada

Abstract

An improvised passive solar concrete collector system have been designed, fabricated and tested at Kakinada location to investigate the feasibility of the same in green building aesthetics by embedding serpentine copper tubes within concrete slab over coated with black paint and engulfed by acrylic sheet at two different inclination angles 0o and 30o for water heating requirements in domestic applications.
