TQM analysis of biodiesel production from waste cooking oil

Although Biodiesel manufacturing industries are not fully developed in India, still this topic has been a great area of in terest for researchers. This study was carried out to find out necessity of implementation of Total Quality Management in the production of biodiesel from waste cooking oil. Fossil Fuel reservoirs are depleting at a rapid rate, so biodiesel will play a significant role as alternative fuel for engine and also in controlling vehicular emission. Barriers, motivation, potential, possibilities and future scope of the topic were investigated in detail by using the oretical analysis. It was found that this industry has lot of scope for implementation of TQM and tremendous potential to solve economic, environmental and social problem.
