The solar distillation is one of the important methods to getting clean water from tap water using free energy supply from the sun. The research work is concluded the performance evaluation of the vacuum tube integrated solar distillation unit. The performance has been predicted in the terms of a temperature difference between all parts of distillation unit, theoretical and actual distilled output and volumetric efficiency of the developed unit. The performance was carried out with 0.03 m depth of basin water with a time interval between 8 AM to 5 PM. The maximum basin water temperature was found to be 75°C during the afternoon hours. The performance was shown that the good agreement between the theoretical and experimental distilled output of solar still. Volumetric efficiency of the solar distillation unit was found 37%. It was higher in the lower depth of basin water.
