Abstract

High utility item set mining deals with identifying high utility item sets. Utility Mining could be carried out by the techniques that use either apriori based or tree based approach for generating high utility item sets. A detailed survey on different techniques used in High utility item set mining is carried out. Various techniques are then compared on the basis of database scans, Support for Incremental and parallel computation etc. These are then summarized and analyzed. General Challenges are also discussed.
