Abstract

In this paper, we have been developed a mathematical model of two homogeneous infinite unbounded ‘elastic solid half and micropolar liquid saturated porous solid half spaces’ welded in contact. In elastic wave incident at the interface and splits in to various waves those travels in both mediums after reflect and refract. The amplitude ratios depend on angle of incidence of the incident wave as well as on the properties of medium. The amplitude ratios of various reflected and transmitted waves have been computed numerically for this model. Also, finding the graphically behavior due to effect of micropolarity and the liquid filled in pore, some particular cases incident coupled longitudinal, couple transmitted and microrotational waves have been obtained with varying angle of incidence between 0° to 90° by using MATLAB.
