Abstract

Gears play an important role in trucks, car, buses, motor bikes and even geared cycles. These gears control speed and include gears like ring and pinion, spiral gear, hypoid gear, hydraulic gears, reduction gearbox. The differential consists of a system of gears arranged in such a way that connects the propeller shaft with the rear axles. In the present work Discrepancy wheel gear of differential gear box are designed under structural condition and modeled. The main aim of the project is to focus on the design and structural analysis of discrepancy wheel gear used in gear box when they transmit power at maximum speed 7500 rpm. The analysis is conducted to verify the best material (steel and Aluminum Alloy) for the discrepancy wheel gear in the gear box at higher speed by analyzing static and dynamic conditions. Because the dynamic behavior of gears are very important in analyze the perfect structure. In this project the design is developed in unigraphics software and structural analysis done by using ANSYS software.
