Abstract

Lantana camara is causing dramatic and apparently irreversible degradation of natural communities in India. The ecological value of the native community, preventing detrimental impacts of invasion and enables to counter negative change to sustain conservation efforts for the progeny. Present review exhibits the processes used for bioactive molecules extraction from Lantana camera Linn.Integration of techniques such as UV, IR, NMR, TEM, SEM, AND XRD, entrapment etc and preparation of nanoparticles and its applications; to characterised the bioactive molecules that gives prospective for possible nonwood renewable source andmore promising areas for future research.
