Abstract

No matter how big or small or at what level the firm is, higher levels of employee turnover definitely has the impact on the business as it is a costly affair finding & training the replacement. The MSME sector plays vital role and acts as the skeleton in the developing country like India. Men, money, material, machines and methods are interlinked and directly proportional to the performance of the firms. MSME sector where the people migrate for the smaller hikes in the salary is biggest challenge for the sector. The research aims to determine the reasons for the turnover in MSME and to ascertain the strategies to overcome the higher employee turnover in MSEME's of Kalaburagi district.
