e-pension system in Haryana

Aadhar enabled e-pension system launched by Directorate of Treasury and Accounts Haryana is a step towards extending easy and facilitating services for common man. It is more efficient, transparent and user friendly system of pension disbursement. By integrating the pension disbursement system with Digital life Certificate, the scheme has streamlined the process of getting this certificate and making it hassle free and much easier for the pensioners. With this initiative the pensioner's requirement to physically present himself/herself in front of disbursing agency or the certification authority become a thing of the past benefiting the pensioners in a huge way

The present paper provides a deep study of how the system works its objectives, process and benefits for the pensioners. Data has been collected from the reports of Treasury and Accounts Department, web sight of T&A Department and Finance Department. Primary information has been collected through discussions with Government officials in Pension Disbursement Cell.
