Abstract

Green building is the emerging concept in Tamilnadu. It is the concepts materialize with the reason of structuring the building with the focus of reducing the environmental issues from the initial construction process. In today, environment is changed into the not suitable of living condition to the human being, in order to reduce environmental issues and to develop the sustainability, green building is the concept was introduced by the Tamilnadu government under the scheme of Chief Minister Solar Powered Green House Scheme. The people are ready to adopting the green nature in constructing the building because they are giving utmost care in their living rate and health aspects. This paper discuss the issues on implementation and benefit of the chief minister solar powered green house scheme, and conclude that people are willing to adopt the green nature in constructing green building and feel that it is essential for the improvement of future generation without any problems and also satisfying their housing needs.
