Socio-economic development of the women and their respectful integration with the mainstream and bringing them at par with the others is a constitutional responsibility and a national goal. Achieving this noble goal calls for effective planning and implementation of various programmes for the development of women. Women entrepreneurs create new jobs for themselves and others and also improve the financial status of their family. Keeping this in view, a study was conducted with the specific objectives to know the availability and utilization of spared milk and to explore the adoption feasibility of sweet lassi and flavoured milk for income generation by 40 interested women from Yamunanagar district of Haryana State Six days training on preparation of sweet lassi and flavoured milk was organized. Regarding availability and utilization of spared milk by the respondents, results showed that maximum number of respondents (42.50%) could spare 3–4 litre followed by 5–6 litre/day and 55.00 per cent utilized the spared milk for ghee preparation followed by sold the milk to open market (45.00%). In respective to awareness about various milk products result indicated that the majority of respondents (72.50%) had heard about milk products like paneer, khoya, cream but none of them were found to be aware about flavoured milk and sweet lassi prepared commercially. Results further revealed that maximum number of the respondents found the technology of flavoured milk as easy to use, physicallly compatible, cultural compatible, profitable and simple to try by giving Ist, IInd, IIIrd, IVth and Vth rank respectively. As regards sweet lassi majority found the technology simple to use, physical compatible, cultural compatible, profitable and simple (with mean score 2.95, 2.75, 2.30, 1.70 and 1.65 respectively).
