Abstract

The study was conducted with 1171 original contributions published in the Indian Journal of Traditional Knowledge during 2002–2014. Contributions by more than five authors and small teams comprising four, three and two authors account for about 92% of the papers. The length of a maximum number of articles (41.9%) ranges from six to ten pages. Articles occupying 1 to 5 pages rank next accounting for 38.9%. Maximum authors from academic contributed 678 (57.9%) papers. The paper covered the bibliometric analyses of year-wise distribution of articles, authorship patterns, and institutions-wise distribution of contributions, and length of papers published in IJTK, bibliographic forms of references have been analyzed.
