British traders initially came to India for trading proposes. Increasing demand for raw material due to industrial revolution and need for a market to sell their finished goods was the reason behind their entry in India. But over the time their administrative and economic policies helped them to increase their control over almost every sphere. In the present paper, an attempt has been made to study the impact of British rule on India's Economy, Society and Culture.
