Abstract

The main purpose of the study was to find the Motor fitness variables as predictors in Kho-Kho playing ability among male. The subjects were 100 male of Panjab University inter college level Kho-Kho players between 18to 25 years of age. These students were studying in various affiliated colleges and various departments of Punjab University, Chandigarh. The relationships between dependent variable i.e. over all Kho-kho playing ability and independent variables. I.e. motor fitness variables was established by computing Pearson's (sero or der) the combined contribution of all the motor fitness variables to overall Kho-Kho playing ability was obtained through multiple correlations. The result shows that the motor fitness variables of women kho-kho players have superior power and better reaction time during playing kho-kho. Agility, co-ordination power were highly correlated with the playing ability of women kho-kho players. There was no linear relationship between the predictor and the dependent variables. When all the five predictors (motor fitness) were entered, the significance level associated with. It is displayed in the value of coefficient in the regression equation and measures the probability that the linear relationship exists between each predictor variable and the dependent variable.
