Analysis of medical tourism

Medical tourism plays important role in future medical care at global level because of advancement in technology and economy. Medical tourism like any other form of tourism have ample opportunity to earn foreign exchange, revenue for governments at local, job creation, infrastructure development and balanced economic development. However, extensive literature of medical tourism shows lacunas in its definition and conceptualization as well as in its balanced development. Present study is a modest effort to discuss its various definitions, development at global level and major issue in its sustainability.
