The Hospitality industry has transferred itself into a global Industry, today it is the fastest growing industry as compared to other Service Industries and it is considered one of the largest service industry in the world, Today the Services provided by the Hospitality Industry is changing as per the need and demands of the customer (guest), and one of the important factor to this is the technology adopted by these hotels to enhance customer satisfaction, in today's scenario the technology is changing so fast, that the Hoteliers need to predict what tomorrows development might be to keep their guest satisfied. Since there is continuous changes and developments taking place in the world of technology the hospitality industry must adapt to it and be ready to accept challenges and opportunities created by the developments happening in the field of technology. This paper examines the effect of technology in enhancing the guest experience in the Luxury Segment of the Hotels in Mumbai. For this research study data was collected from 12 Luxury hotels in the range of 4 and 5 star hotels of Mumbai, the data was collected using self-administered questionnaire, and in depth personal interviews. Questionnaires were distributed to the customers visiting these hotels sample sizes of 50 customers visiting these hotels were selected randomly for this study. Descriptive Research Design enabling examination of the Research questions via a cross-sectional study was carried out.
