Abstract

Municipal bonds are issued in USA, UK, CHINA, and AUSTRALIA and in other developed countries which are a main source of financing for local governments. However, these bonds have either been considered in Pakistan. As issuing of municipal bond is a new concept in Pakistan regarding saving mobilization so The purpose of this paper is to To check how people will behave if municipal bonds are issued by local governments for mobilizing of savings for investment. A questionaire survey was used to collect data from people of Pakistan using random sampling The model was being supported by theory of planed behavior which shows that people are soo much willing to purchase municipal bonds for saving mobilization.
