In the present study, an attempt is made to analyze the manpower facilities available at CHCs in the selected districts of the state of Haryana. For this purpose, sample of 50 respondents (doctors) i.e. 13, 12, 13 and 12 respondents from Palwal, Bhiwani, Hisar and Narnaul districts, respectively was taken for data collection. The primary data were collected with the help of pre-tested structured questionnaire on five point Likert scale i.e. Strongly Disagree (SD), Disagree (D), Neutral (N), Agree (A) and Strongly Agree (SA). On the other hand, the secondary data were collected mainly from Ministry of Health and Family Welfare publications such as IPHS Guidelines for Community Health Centres, and e-journals were also referred to. For coding and editing the data, weights were assigned in order of importance i.e. 5 to Strongly Agree (SA), 4 to Agree (A), 3 to Neutral (N), 2 to Disagree (D) and 1 to Strongly Disagree (SD). Statistical techniques such as frequency distribution, mean, standard deviation and ANOVA had been applied to analyze the data and validate the results of the study. It is concluded that senior medical officer (S.M.O.), information assistant (IA), data entry operator and fourth class workers are found essential manpower facilities available in CHCs in case of Narnaul, whereas ayush doctor, fourth class workers and dental surgeon in case of Palwal, Bhiwani and Hissar, respectively. Further it is recommended that the Government should appoint senior medical officers, gynaecologist, dental surgeon, staff nurses, public health nurse, information assistant, data entry operator, ward boys and fourth class workers to improve the functioning of CHCs and to provide better health services to the society.
