Abstract

Ever increasing competition has forced banks to deliver quality services to the customers. After the entry of private sector banks and foreign banks, which delivered better services than nationalized banks, forced nationalized banks to improve their service quality. Initial researches indicate that private sector banks and foreign sector having better service quality than nationalized banks. Our study indicates that nationalized banks are not behind in service quality, rather they are better on some dimensions of service quality than their counter parts.
