The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between participation and job satisfaction of 644 employees in the regional electricity company of Fars and Bushehr provinces of Iran. This study is a descriptive-correlation survey. The main instrument for data collection is questionnaire. 389 employees were selected randomly as statistical sample. Factors analysis and the findings show that respondent' scores on the main variables, i.e. job satisfaction and participation, is above the average level, in our context of Iranian employees. The overall conclusion from this study indicates that job satisfaction of employees has a significant positive influence on employees’ participation.
