Emotional well-being comprises happiness, satisfaction with one's job, and meaning. More and more, people are looking to work to find meaning in their lives. Employees who do not find meaning or happiness in their work are less productive and are willing to leave the organization to look for meaning elsewhere. So, in this study our main hypothesis is significant relationship between happiness and commitment of employees. Our statistical population includes University of Tehran faculty members equal to 950. For determination of sample size, we distributed 34 initial questionnaires and based on 0.329 standard error, sample size is equal to 142 but we gathered 154 final questionnaires. Using SEM (Standard Equation Modeling) in LISREL software, we found that happiness can describe changes in organizational commitment with 0.49 coefficients. Our results suggest that a better atmosphere for Spirituality, Providence, Joy, and Contentment in organizations, will conduct a less turnover and absence.
