Organizational atmosphere can be described as the feeling of employees; or people who are outside the organization, about the internal environment of the organization. Further, organizational citizenship behavior is extra-role behavior leads to competitive advantages for any organizations. Therefore, this study aims to determine the relationship between organizational atmosphere and organizational citizenship behavior. The present study was conducted among 400 employees of Tehran Municipality. A total of 250 questionnaires were distributed among the employeesusing random sampling and 202 usable questionnaires were returned. These data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique by LISREL 8.8 software. The results of the factor analysis show that organizational atmosphere has a significant influence on organizational citizenship behavior. Further, managerial implications are proposed according to the results of the study.
