Abstract

The organizational citizenship behavior outlays have been greatly noticed due do not supports by rewarding systems of the organizations and have resulted in increasing effectiveness and efficiency of the organizations. Thus, the present research is going to study about the relationship between organizational support and organizational citizenship behaviors (Civic virtue, Altruism, Sportsmanship, Conscientiousness, and courtesy). The statistical society of the present research entailed the staffs in Gas Company and 177 questionnaires were collected from them and were analyzed. The reliability coefficient of the questionnaire was calculated to be 0.857 and the relationship between research variables was investigated by using pearson correlation coefficient. Based on the results gained all the research relationships were approved except the relationship of organizational support perceived by courtesy. The present research has been a new step forward to study the relationship between the factors related with the organization and the factors related with the staffs.
