Abstract

The present research aims to investigate the effectiveness of group intellectual, emotional and behavioral treatment on the change of staff's emotional intelligence in Tehran Municipality Deputy of Social. The research was quasi-experimental. The statistical population includes the staff in Tehran Municipality Deputy of Social. From among them 44 were selected as the samples in two groups of control and experimental. The measuring tool was the 33-item Shernik emotional questionnaire. The data were analyzed using SPSS by covariance test. The results of the analysis show that group cognitive, emotional and behavioral treatment effects all the factors in the staff's emotional intelligence (self-motivation, self-awareness, self-control, social intelligence and social skills) in a way that it lead to an increase in the means of post-tests in experimental group.
