Abstract

This analysis investigates the proportion of culture and management style to competitive strategy of organization. The statistical population of this study contains 70 managers and experts in Iran Pegah Dairy Holding Company. We have applied no special method to determine the statistical sample and all members of statistical sample are selected as the statistical population. The correlation method and multiple regression testing are utilized for data analysis. F Fisher Statistic is applied to determine the significance of regression model. Student's t statistic at the level of 95% is utilized to investigate the significance of independent variables in each model. Therefore, SPSS and Excel software are applied in this regard. Furthermore, Durbin-Watson test is used to investigate the lack of auto-correlation among the residual terms. The statistical tests indicate that there is no collinearity problem among the independent variables of research. Kolmogorov-Smirnov test (K-S) is applied to test the normality of errors. The results of this research indicate that there is a direct significant relationship between the tribal culture and competitive strategy-based market; and the hierarchal culture has an inverse relationship with competitive strategy. The autocratic-benevolent and contributive management styles have a direct and significant relationship with competitive strategy and the autocratic management style has an inverse relationship with competitive strategy.
