Abstract

This research surveys the relation between organization communication efficiency and the five managerial power applied in Qazvin province general department of tax affairs. The statistical society of managers includes 70 managers and the statistical society of personnel includes 230 personnel. Out of the statistical society of managers, 60 were selected on a simple random basis and out of the statistical society of the personnel working subordinate to the selected managers, 144 were selected on the basis of stratified random sampling method using Krejcie-Morgan table. To collect data, organization communication efficiency questionnaire and managerial power resources questionnaire were applied and the Cronbach's alpha calculated for their reliability were 0.76 and 0.90. To analyse the data and to test the hypotheses, Pearson and Spearman's correlation coefficients were calculated using SPSS software. The findings revealed that relation exists among organization communication efficiency, reward power, referent power and expertise power of the managers; however according to the research findings no relation exists between organization communication efficiency, coercive power and legitimate power of managers.
