Abstract

The main objective of this paper is to investigate as to whether employee training and development has any effect on employee productivity. The data was collected from primary and secondary source. Primary data was collected by administrating a questionnaire. The data has been checked through statistical tools to find out the effect on employee training and development and employees’ productivity. There were two variables employee training and development (Independent variable), and employees’ productivity (Dependant variable). 350 employees were selected for study by the stratified sampling selecting in the BHEL-Ranipet as studies are. The data was analyzed using SPSS software package in which reliability, correlation and regression analysis tools were used. The result showed that there was significant relationship between employee training and development and employees productivity.
