The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between transformational leadership and cultural intelligence among the principals of Marivan city. In this research, the study standard questionnaire (Rezazade and Azizi, 2012) was used to collect independent variable data and Saatchi et al (2010) questionnaire was applied to measure the dependent variable. The present study is an applied research objectively and is a descriptive-survey type in terms of data collection method. The statistical population of the study consists of the principals of Marivan's schools including 144 people selected by available simple random sampling method. To analyse the data, different methods of descriptive and inferential statistics were used. Accordingly, the results indicate that there are significant relationships between cultural intelligence and transformational leadership dimensions including idealized influence (r = 0.334), inspirational motivation (r = 0.252), intellectual stimulation (r = 0.482) and individualized considerations (r = 0.427). In the end, to strengthen the relations between model variables, conclusion and some recommendations are presented.
