The present research was conducted with the aim of studying the impact of management styles on the extent of accountability of parents in first grade high schools in district 3 of Tehran city in the academic year of 2014–15. The research method was practical in terms of objectives and correlational-descriptive in terms of data collection. Moreover, it was a causal research in terms of the relationship between variables. The population consisted of all assistants, counselors and teachers of first grade high schools in district 3 of Tehran city among whom 150 individuals were selected as a sample size using Cochran formula and stratified random sampling method. Two researcher-made questionnaire of management styles and accountability based on California Psychological Inventory (CPI) and Eysenck Personality Questionnaire. Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used to investigate the reliability of the questionnaires which the values were greater than 0.7 for both the questionnaires. In addition, content validity was utilized to check the research reliability which the questionnaires were approved by the relevant experts in this regard. Analysis of the data obtained from the implementation of the questionnaires was carried out in two sections of descriptive and inferential (Structural Equation Modelling). The findings indicated that management styles (autocratic, benevolent (paternalistic), consultative, and participative) had significant impact on accountability of parents in first grade high schools in district 3 of Tehran city.
