The Corona virus originated in China. The virus spread from China to the rest of the world, so the World Health Organisation declared it as a global epidemic. The virus has also spread to India. The present research paper studies how corona virus spread in India, what steps the Indian government has taken to prevent it, how causes of corona virus has affected the Indian economy and what is the effect of corona virus on industry and trade. The above questions has been analysed in the present paper. An economic package of Rs. 20 lakhs core under the "Atma Nirbhar Bharat Abhiyan" was announced by the Prime Minister of India to improve India's economic system. This will strengthen India's economic link and increase the country's domestic manufacturing, industry, employment etc.
