Abstract

Chhattisgarh is one of the leading states of India in the field of production of Solar Energy. Chhattisgarh is blessed with sharp sun almost throughout the year, so to take advantage of this CREDA has started Saur Sujla Yojana (SSY). This is a kind of project which has multiple benefits say Increase in production, upliftment of villages’ economy, conservation of forests, better amenities to the village people, development of remote areas etc.

The purpose of this paper is to find out the impact of Saur Sujala Yojna in Chhattisgarh. Spending on this project is very large by government, so this study is conducted to know about the success or failure of the project.

Quantitative and Descriptive.

This study is conducted through secondary data collected from the organization CREDA as well as primary data collected from farmers who are getting benefits of this project.

Graphical and Tabular representation of data, Analysis.

Present condition of farmers is not good they need economical as well as educational support, effects of SSY
