Abstract

In this paper we tried to study and understand how teenegers use violence through technology in their dating relationship; the aggressiveness inherent to the human being takes its share of protagonism and becomes violent with a new face when the conflict appears in the sentimental relationships of teenagers who live in a situation of boyfriend and girlfriend. Most of the materials we used were studies that some authors have studied this phenomenon but we also applied a survey to teenager students and present results of the survey carried out in 14 public high schools in the state of Nuevo Leon, Mexico, to a random sample of 1, 900 students, where the results reflect that online violence is a reality in the interactions in the social networks of teenegers who have a sentimental relationship. We consider that this paper would give a lead to administrators in high schools, higher education institutions and also, to investigators covering this matter.
