Abstract

The study is conducted to measure the tourist perception at the Namachi district of South Sikkim. The study is based on primary survey conducted at the tourist sports of Samdruptse and Siddheshwar Dham (Char Dham) in Namchi district. The data collected is analysed using the Croanbach's Alpha test and Principle Component Analysis. A combine index to measure the perception of the tourists is developed. The tourists have a low perception value for the four factors and a medium perception value for one factor. The overall perception also comes out to be low.
